Your academics are strong enough for those schools, but your extracurriculars don't show the leadership that the top schools tend to look for. All those years of piano, art and Chinese are simply more classes, which show effort and persistence but not leadership. But if you can make yourself an interesting applicant, it will increase your odds of getting in. Include photos of your art if you're a talented artist. Emphasize the magic if that's a passion of yours. Strong essays and good recommendations will definitely help. Your odds of acceptance are probably best at Rice and Johns Hopkins.
