Why the hell do people go with companies like Verizon Wireless?

for their telephone service when there are so much cheaper and better alternatives like Metro PCS which offer unlimited talk, text, internet all for just $40 and no annual contrats!!!!!! Verizon will charge you double for that price, do you people enjoy getting ripped off!
