How long does online Credit Recovery take if you passed the EOC but failed the class?

I failed Civics & Econ with like a 68. =/ I passed the EOC though and im forced to do credit recovery online. My teacher said it takes about 2 weeks. But my parents are telling me it wil take all summer long... Which one is it?
