From experience I'd say, definitely, my level 50 Typhlosion had one hell of a bad time, yeah I know it was at a disadvantage but it had Rock slide, get your Pokemon to around 40-45 and keep at least 2 Pokemon that has a move strong against her Pokemon, a good Pokemon would be one that has a Dragon type move, for example your Gyarados can learn Twister, Dragon Rage isn't a good one because it's limited to only 40 points of damage. Her team will fall to mostly Ice and Dragon type moves except for Kingdra which will only fall to Dragon type move, Rock type moves will work as well, hope this helps

5 out of 10. Your Gyarados should learn another move instead of dragon rage. You should teach it earthquake (found in Wayward Cave after beating Canalave Gym), since it covers up the electric and rock weakness. Your Torterra's moves are good but I'm a bit worried about synthesis, since Torterra's speed is fairly low and it already knows mega drain. You should teach it iron tail (found on iron island B2F). The others are awesome but here are some recommended moves: Staraptor-Steel Wing (Route 209), Machamp-Rock Tomb (Ravaged Path), Alakazam-Shadow Ball (Route 210 after obtaining Secret Potion). Haunter is good. It covers all of its weak points. Although you might want to teach it defensive move like protect or skill swap (Veilstone Dept. Store 3L, a girl in a house in Canalave City). My friend made me obese?

I know all the details because my friend confessed and told me all this yesterday. So im a guy, 15 and it basically started last year when my friend started lending me some money when I forgot my wallet so I could buy a snack from the vending machine. Then he started coming with me to the vending machine and offering to pay for my snack everyday. He then started buying me two snacks everyday even though I didn't ask and just said I could pay him back next time we went into town or something. So for a few weeks he would buy me two or three snacks everyday and needless to say the increase in calories was beginning to show. My friend said it really started when this happened as he saw me in swimming and noticed I looked chubbier. But it got worse over the next few months, he started buying me more and more snacks and with an increasing appetite and him being so nice I just happily ate. Every two weeks we would go into town to mcdonalds and he suggested an eating contest where the winner got to eat all the food and the loser had to pay for it. As I was getting bigger I always won and found myself eating 5 extra large big macs, fries, ice cream and feeling generally stuffed by the end. At school he would buy me extra snacks to take home and for the weekend in case I got hungry. When I went round to his house he always had plenty of snacks in and we always pigged out, me especially as I got bigger I began to lose control of my appetite, there was a point where I knew I was putting on weight, but I felt so hungry that I wanted more. I'd say go back to victory road and catch some Pokemon, they are LV 44-47 I am sure they could help more then your Haunter, and other low leveled Pokemon. Yes you should be able to consolidate. I was working at a large bank for a while and a lot of people would lump things in with there whether it was debt or medical expenses. I would go into one of the banks and see if you can get a lower interest consolidated loan. It may be tricky but hopefully you can work something out with the bank. One bit of information the process may take a little while and generally they will make it sound like you will be able to get the loan the first time you walk out the door because they don't like to tell the client no when they first meet them so just because the first meeting goes well does not mean that it will go well. If you can't consolidate at least take out a loan for the credit card debt. Anything to get a smaller interest rate will help you. Credit card debt is a killer for the credit score and saving you have to do what you can to cut that down ASAP.

STD testing. Is it worth it or am I just a hypochondriac?

Alright, so I am a 21year old female and Ill admit I am a moderate to extreme hypochondriac. Or maybe its just OCD. I have had 4 sexual partners, 2 of which I know were clean and the other 2 I have no idea. Anyways back in October I had unprotected sex with this guy a few times and about a month or so later I developed a huge body rash and I was CONVINCED it was the acute HIV rash. So I waited a while until I could be tested and I was negative for both HIV as well as Hepatitis. The tests were kinda expensive because here in California, or at least my town, they no longer offer free STD testing. I kinda felt like it was a waste and everybody was telling me I didn't have HIV and they were right. Well then a few months ago I got another rash on my back and I decided it had to be sacral herpes. I went to a dermatologist who said it did not look like any kind of STD but she took a sample of the rash to be sent off for a biopsy and I made her write on the lab sheet to test it for herpes. It came back negative and she concluded it was just an allergic reaction. Well since then I have not had sex (last time was almost 4 months ago). The past few days I have noticed my vaginal skin is more red and dry, and just slightly itchy. I fear it may be a mild herpes outbreak. I have no blisters or sores so I am unsure if I should get a test done because I read that blood tests for herpes are not always accurate and since I don't have a sore to be tested idk what I should do. I don't want to waste more money that i don't even have if the test is just gonna come back negative like all the other tests did. Am I just freaking out about nothing?? I just got tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea like 2 weeks ago for my annual and i was clean and the doc said i looked healthy down there. What should I do??

Serebii is a great site that has it all. You get a free dratini after you beat Claire, the 8th gym leader. Scyther can only be caught in the bug catching contest. You can't really get larvitar until much later in the game, unless you trade. Heracross can be found by just headbutting any tree. It would be helpful if you had a Psychic type like Hypo or Alakazm. An yes, you definately should get Mareep because Ampharos is one of the best electric types you can get.

Well you and I are actually in the same boat. I'm going to be a Sophomore this year as well and my gpa for my freshmen year REALLY sucked. So the advice my parents have been giving me that I'm going to give to you is try your hardest to make better grades in all of your other classes. By doing that your math grade wouldn't affect you gpa to much because your making like A's and or B's in all of your other classes..and then whatever grade you be getting in your math classes. First off, anybody who is "low intellect" would even sign up for an AP class. I wouldn't take AP Calc AB and BC in the same year because the College Board puts the exams on the same day. I would take BC if you are good at math and feel that you can handle no previous Calc knowledge. AP Eng Lit is pretty challenging (from what I heard). AP US Govt. and AP Econ are pretty easy courses, but require memorization and hard work. I have a bit of a scheduling perdicament for my schedule for next yr. (Im gonna be a juinor) I have 4 core classes and 3 electives. 1 would be HOPE (required pe) 2nd would be digital design 2 (another graduation requirement for me) and now my 3rd elective. I originally signed up for marching band (I have been in it since freshman yr and I love it (drumline) but then got it changed to spanish 1. I really want to do marching band, that would involve practices just about once a week in the summer, a week of band camp in august 1-9pm and once august starts tuesdays and thursdays 3:30-5:30 and of course football games on friday nights. OR spanish one. If I stayed with spanish i wouldnt be doing much after school at all, if i did band I obvuousluy would. How does a joint major affects grad school?

So I am a Finance, Math-Econ joint major. And my idea is that after i get my bachelors, I would get a job in finance while continuing my eduction in math. But before you say that I'm crazy, I would only need to take 2 more classes than if I were a finance-math double major or finance-econ double major. But the problem I see is that in the joint major, i would have taken less elective classes in math than a full math major. So I was wondering how well I could survive in grad school with the core classes and little math elective compared to other math majors who have had probably more classes than me. So I guess I feel a little nervous since I don't know what grad school is like. So could someone tell me how my bachelors education will affect my masters and possible doctorate education in math.

NIDOKING!!!!!! nidoking is truly an amazing pokemon, love it, try being nice to your togetic and making it evolve, trade your haunter to a friend and have him trade it back so it will evolve into a gengar, make sure to teach nidoking earthquake, because gyarados is 4x weak to electric and ground is super effective against electric. also evolve your magmar into a magnezone, as for your last addition, it looks like your not using your starter, if your starter was chikorita, use that, but if not another good grass type is vicreebel, catch a bellsprout, train until it evolves into a weepinbell, keep training until it learns razor leaf, then use a leaf stone to evolve it into a victreebell, if none of these grass types sound appealing to you, id suggest an alakazam, it has incredible high special attack and speed, to get one, simple catch an abra, train it to a kadabra, wait until it learns psychic, then trade it to a friend and have him trade it back to evolve it into an alakazam. your team is great =) but one of these additions will help tremendously!!!

Ah, a banana slug! Definitely look for an internship in the for profit sector (even if your heart is in the non-profit space) - getting that experience will be important and make you seem more valuable to the non-profit folks (most of the execs of non-profits got started in the for profit sector anyway). A few other tips - learn how to use Excel really well (get the excel for dummies workbook - it has exercises ready to go). Also, understanding the accounting in those other classes is also pretty huge - anyone looking to enter any form of business (especially the non-accountants) can really benefit from understanding how a balance sheet and p&l work. Hate to tell you, but if they are this late doing your review, then your are most likely going to be fired. They are probably just keeping you on for tax reasons right now, or perhaps you sre in the middle of a project? Best to just give your two weeks notice now, and move on to looking for another job. This is an awesome team! These are also nice changes to improve your team: Delete Butterfree's Psybeam since you already have some Psychic moves with Haunter. Might as well change it into a flying-type move. Use Ice Beam for Wartortle's 3rd move because it has more PP, also a strong move and a higher accuracy than Blizzard. Maybe let Pikachu learn Shock Wave. Remove Sandslash's Rock Slide and change it into Body Slam. I don't really play Red and Blue, though. So, I don't really know the moves the Pokemon can learn there. But I love FR and LG. Still hope I helped! :)

I have a bit of a scheduling perdicament for my schedule for next yr. (Im gonna be a juinor) I have 4 core classes and 3 electives. 1 would be HOPE (required pe) 2nd would be digital design 2 (another graduation requirement for me) and now my 3rd elective. I originally signed up for marching band (I have been in it since freshman yr and I love it (drumline) but then got it changed to spanish 1. I really want to do marching band, that would involve practices just about once a week in the summer, a week of band camp in august 1-9pm and once august starts tuesdays and thursdays 3:30-5:30 and of course football games on friday nights. OR spanish one. If I stayed with spanish i wouldnt be doing much after school at all, if i did band I obvuousluy would. I could take a class online in so i could have 4 electives instead of 3 (prolly american goverment/ econ) so i could do both band and spanish. What would you do? Stick with spanish? Almost any Pokemon will do. Even Donphan is pretty good, but if you plan on replacing it choose something like Tyranitar or Togekiss, those would be a good replacement. I would go with a special attacker (Togekiss in this case) since the majority of your Pokemon seem to be oriented to physical attack.

Your absolutely right. It seems we live in an age where fine arts are being neglected by people in general. I love classical music and going to the orchestra. I'm also a piano teacher. One thing that may be a factor is the bad state of the economy. Many people just don't have the extra funds to go to see orchestra concerts. Also, I think people today have less sophisticated taste in music than they did even 20-50 years ago. Sad to say many would rather go see that stupid Bieber kid than listen to real music from an orchestra. In some cities there are volunteer orchestras and free concerts. So, that may be an option for some people. I live in Houston and thankfully we have pretty good support for the symphony and fine arts in our city. Along with that we have two major universities that form an enclave for support in classical music and the arts. Such as the University of Houston Moores school of music and the Rice University music department. I think the only thing we can do is try to help people be more aware of the joy and glory of classical music and the symphony. Creating more interest in orchestras and their decline may help to save them. Thanks for your post.

Your team is pretty sound so far. I would recommend getting a few more pokemon to even out the type weaknesses of your team. If you can, find an Electric type. Pikachu would be ideal, but as far as I know, you can't catch him yet. I would suggest heading over to Olivine. In a house near the Lighthouse is a fisher who will trade a Voltorb for a Krabby. Voltorb is a good electric type when trained. For your sixth, find a Grass type. No mater what you do, DO NOT USE A BUG POKEMON!!! Bug Pokemon have the most weaknesses, and their attacks in Crystal are generally weak. Along with that, I would suggest leveling up all of your Pokemon. Since you're on the seventh gym, the Pokemon you'll face will be in the middle to upper thirties. Train your pokemon to lvl 40 and you should be fine.

On my Lingo translator, I recently discovered how the words looked in English letters in Persian. I don't remember those words though and it's associated with the Arabic button when you push down a certain number and I'm just wondering that if Persian is a Pokemon and that language was named after a Pokemon, why don't they name them after any other Pokemon? Why don't we have a language named Meowth, Persian's preevolved form or Pikachu or Raichu or Sandshrew, Haunter, Gengar, or Espeon and even Umbreon. But the language has to be called Persian instead. Why is that?
