Bad grades as a freshman any hope?

Well you and I are actually in the same boat. I'm going to be a Sophomore this year as well and my gpa for my freshmen year REALLY sucked. So the advice my parents have been giving me that I'm going to give to you is try your hardest to make better grades in all of your other classes. By doing that your math grade wouldn't affect you gpa to much because your making like A's and or B's in all of your other classes..and then whatever grade you be getting in your math classes.
